More than 53,700 attendees registered for the Greater New York Dental Meeting at the Javits Center, making the unique event a tremendous success, show organizers said.
More than 18,300 dentists from all 50 states and 137 countries registered to attend the show in late November and early December, in addition to 4,321 dental hygienists and 5,184 dental assistants.
With a dynamic program that includes workshops to live procedures on voluntary patients, more than 700 companies exhibited at the one-of-a-kind event filled with more than 1,600 booths. The 90th annual session provides the latest news, trends and technology in the world of dentistry and serves as one of the largest shows at the Javits Center each year. With the conference’s inaugural World Implant Expo, the large turnout proved to be a great combination for the many dental professionals that came to participate.
In addition, dental students who attended were able to engage at a greater level due to the two seminars and two workshops held each day at the conference.
Due to its success, the organization committee and staff are already planning for a busier and more exciting conference in 2015. For more information, visit www.gnydm.com.
