John Menapace has been appointed as the Javits Center’s Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Edward B. MacDonald, Jr. who retired from the position after serving the organization for 20 years.
John is responsible for the day-to-day planning, implementing, managing and controlling of all finance-related activities of the Javits Center. This includes the development of financial and operational strategies, metrics tied to these strategies, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets. John comes to us with a solid background in finance and accounting, enterprise transformation and business solutions enabled processes, and technology and organizational change. Most recently, he served as the CFO at Kedrion Biopharma and has prior experience at the Clinton Foundation in Tanzania and the American Red Cross in Washington, DC.
